Celebrating Monday with Margarita Day!

It’s National Margarita Day!  So find your friends after work and try one of these tasty recipes!

Classic Margarita
1.5 ounces Tequlia (silver or reposado)
1 oz. Cointreau (orange liquer)
3/4 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
Optional: Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup for sweetening
Lime Wedge and Salt for rimming the glass

Add tequlia, lime juice, and contreau to cocktail shaker and shake until ingredients are combined. If you want sweeter add syrup or agave and then fill glass with ice and pour into glass1

There are lots of variations to the traditional margarita and here are a few of our favorites:

Cadillac/Golden Margarita
2 oz of Reposado Tequlia
1 oz. Grand Marnier
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Combine in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice. Stain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Strawberry Lime Margarita
6 oz Tequlia
2 cups of Frozen Strawberries
4 oz Frozen Limeade Concentrate
2 cups of ice

Put ingredients into blender and blend until smooth!

Champagne Margarita
3 oz. Tequlia
2 oz Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup
.5 tsp Orange Liquer
Dry Sparkling Wine
Fresh Lime Juice + Ice Cubes

Combine all ingredients with plenty of ice and top with sparkling wine!

Mule Version
2 oz. Gold Tequlia
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 tsp Simple Syrup
3-4 oz chilled Ginger Ale

Grapefruit Jalepeno
2 cups of Grapefruit Juice
2 cups of Silver Tequlia
1 cup of Grand Marnier
3/4 cup Agave Nectar
2 Jalepenos, quartered lengthwise
Slices from Grapefruit Juice

Stir all ingredients in a large pitcher and let chill for a bit. The longer it sits the more spicy it gets!
