Dexter Three Wood at Boone’s

Do we have something special for you whiskey drinkers out there! Have you ever heard of Dexter? No, no, not the show- the whiskey! It is a not-so-known brand of bourbon, but maybe you have heard of the parent company- Brain Brew Whiskey? If you still haven’t, allow us to introduce you! Joe Girgash and Doug Hall founded the company in 2016 as two whiskey-loving pals! Within 18 months, they took home two of eight Double Gold Medals at the North American Bourbon & Whiskey competition!

As they continued to grow, Brain Brew did research on the history of the whiskey business. They were surprised to learn that the greater Cincinnati area where they lived was responsible for 85% of the American whiskey business in the 1800s. They worked hard to honor the pioneers of the bourbon business- one being Edmund Dexter. The result? Dexter Three Wood Straight Bourbon finished with 200 Year Oak, Maple Wood and Cherry Wood.

The 200 Year Oak delivers a long, elegant finish. The Maple interacts to make a smooth taste, and the cherry wood brings bright and beautiful flavor.
