Game Day Beer Cocktails!
We thought we would do something we haven’t done before, and that is game day cocktail blogs! We are in the heart of one of the best times of the year for sports. Basketball and Hockey are just kicking off, we just came out of the World Series, and we are in the midst of a great college football and NFL season! So the next time you have company over to watch a game, try these beer cocktails!
1. Beer Margarita:
Ingredients:
•1 bottle of light beer
•1 cup tequila
•1/2 cup triple sec
•1/2 cup lime juice
•Ice
•Salt for rimming (optional)
•Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions:
•Rim the glasses with salt if desired.
•In a pitcher, combine tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
•Add ice to the pitcher.
•Pour the light beer into the pitcher and stir gently.
•Pour the mixture into the prepared glasses.
•Garnish with lime wedges.
•Enjoy your refreshing beer margarita!
2. Black and Tan Shandy:
Ingredients:
•1 bottle of stout beer
•1 bottle of lager beer
•1/2 cup lemonade
•Ice
•Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
•Fill half of a pint glass with the stout beer.
•Slowly pour the lager beer over the back of a spoon to layer it on top of the stout.
•In a separate glass, mix the lemonade and ice.
•Top the layered beer with the lemonade mixture.
•Garnish with lemon slices.
•Stir before drinking to mix.
3. Spicy Michelada:
Ingredients:
•1 bottle of Mexican lager
•1/2 cup tomato juice
•1/4 cup lime juice
•1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
•1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
•Ice
•Tajin or salt for rimming (optional)
•Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions:
•Rim the glass with Tajin or salt if desired.
•In a pitcher, mix tomato juice, lime juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
•Fill the glass with ice.
•Pour the Mexican lager over the ice.
•Top with the tomato juice mixture.
•Stir gently.
•Garnish with lime wedges.
4. Cider and Stout Punch:
Ingredients:
•1 bottle of hard cider
•1 bottle of stout beer
•1/2 cup bourbon
•1/4 cup maple syrup
•Apple slices for garnish
•Ice
Instructions:
•In a punch bowl, combine hard cider, stout beer, bourbon, and maple syrup.
•Add ice to the punch bowl.
•Stir gently to mix the ingredients.
•Ladle the punch into individual glasses.
•Garnish each glass with apple slices.
•Enjoy your flavorful Cider and Stout Punch!
