Is It Too Early For Fall Cocktails?
We are in the dog days of summer y’all. And if you’ve been following along with our blog, you know that we have been posting light and refreshing summer cocktails! But a thought- is it too early to be thinking about fall cocktails? I mean, it’s almost August, which means that Labor Day will be here before we know it and boom- Fall. Wild how fast time is flying by, isn’t it?
Anyways enough outta us! If you are in the mood to start thinking about fall, the leaves, pumpkins, pumpkin spice and everything around it- you’ve come to the right blog! Here are a few fall cocktails that will be a hit anytime!
Spiced Apple Mule
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka
4 oz spiced apple cider
1 oz fresh lime juice
Ginger beer
Apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions:
a. Fill a glass with ice.
b. Add vodka, spiced apple cider, and fresh lime juice.
c. Stir gently to mix.
d. Top off with ginger beer.
e. Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.
Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Ingredients:
2 oz vodka
1 oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlua)
1 oz pumpkin spice syrup
2 oz half-and-half or milk
Ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for garnish
Instructions:
a. Fill a glass with ice.
b. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, and pumpkin spice syrup.
c. Stir well.
d. Pour in the half-and-half or milk.
e. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
Autumn Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
1/4 oz maple syrup
2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
Orange twist
Apple slices and cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions:
a. Fill a glass with ice.
b. Add maple syrup and bitters.
c. Add bourbon or rye whiskey and stir.
d. Fill the glass with more ice.
e. Garnish with an orange twist, apple slices, and a cinnamon stick.
Harvest Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle of red wine (e.g., Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon)
1/2 cup apple brandy
1/4 cup orange liqueur (e.g., Triple Sec or Cointreau)
2 cups apple cider
Apple and orange slices
Sparkling water or club soda (optional)
Instructions:
a. In a pitcher, combine red wine, apple brandy, orange liqueur, and apple cider.
b. Stir well and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
c. Add apple and orange slices to the pitcher.
d. If desired, top off with sparkling water or club soda before serving.
